“We did a private tour last December to see the Dyker Heights Christmas Lights and it was great! 28 family and friends. We were picked up in Chelsea in a Mercedes Sprinter, very roomy and comfortable. Lots of wine and bubbly on the way, followed by a delicious dinner in Bay Ridge and then the Lights, the neighborhood goes all out! We enjoyed delicious, huge cupcakes on the way back (and more wine!) It was a great holiday experience, I would definitely recommend to others!”

“Great Italian food tour in fascinating Brooklyn! I’ve experienced several food tours and this one is up there with the best! Kelly is delightful! Delicious samplings…..and pizza! And you must have the cannoli! YUM! Highly recommend this food tour!”

“We took the original tour – 4 of us! It was fabulous. We were joined by another group of 6. We totally enjoyed every last minute of it, but particularly, our leader Kelly – warm, knowledgeable, funny and very accommodating. We can’t wait to do the Red Hook tour!”

“Kelly was a great tour guide. She knows the neighborhood, the people and the establishments. It will go to the top of our favorite food tours!! Kelly and the store owners were so kind and fun to talk to!! I would definitely go on this tour again and would definitely recommend it to friends going to NY!!”

“Kelly was a pleasure to deal with. I arranged the tour for my group and she was accommodating as well as quick and efficient with communication and information. We’ve done other food tours but everyone rated this one as the best. In addition to the good food choices, all the people at the stops seemed to welcome us and enjoy showing their food and neighborhood. It was a very “warm” and complimentary view of Brooklyn – Carroll Gardens for those of us who had never been there. Kelly’s tour would definitely be on my “recommend” list for visitors to New York.”

“Kelly, we had the best time!  Of course, it goes without saying that we were all stuffed like Thanksgiving turkeys.  The shops and the food were great.  You did a great job conducting the tour and choosing the locations.  We told you how much we enjoyed our North End tour in Boston, but we all agreed that your tour was right there and we must tell you that the quantity of food surpassed that tour.  We will definitely recommend you to anyone interested in such a tour and we wish you much success in your endeavor.”

“This was by far the best walking food tour I have been on. I have done others in NYC but this was much better because the owners of each establishment spent time with us, talking about the area and their history. We were also given more food–there is no way I could have eaten another bite! Kelly was a lot of fun. She really knows her stuff. She is personally acquainted with the owners so they are willing to do much more for her. Loved, loved, loved the tour.”

“I loved this tour!  It was a refreshing food-tour-twist that we went to a variety of location types, rather than just sit down restaurants.  I feel like I have a new-found knowledge about the Carroll Gardens section of Brooklyn and will definitely be making the trip on the F train from Manhattan for pepperoni bread, sopressata, and cannolis- out of this world!  The time that the owners of the establishments spent with us was priceless and added a great dimension to the tour.  Kelly was a fantastic guide:  knowledgable, engaging, and fun!  It’s clear that she cherishes her local eateries and specialty shops and has built wonderful relationships with them. I recommend this tour to everyone; even those locals who think they know everything there is to know about the food scene in NYC; you’ll gain a whole new appreciation.  I can’t wait to go again!”

“Kelly, that was a great afternoon, you were the perfect guide providing interesting facts with a sense of humor and a great smile. I will definitely let my friends know about you, the idea and the tour. This is also a great idea for any visitors to the States. I also did not realize that Brooklyn was so close to Manhattan, literally 5 minutes across the bridge, who would have “thunk” it.”
